Brad Wins Super Sedan Tri-Series Mildura

After constantly running to fast for Super Street category and being told by ANDRA officials that a Roll Cage was needed, 

The next chapter for the Enhanced VY SS Drag ute commenced,

A full 6 Point Chrome Moly Roll Cage meeting ANDRA specifications was built,

And fitted to the drag car by owner, Brad from Enhanced Automotive.

The journey began to race this late model commodore ute,

Against the proven automatic transmission with trans brake & high stall equipped drag cars in Super Sedan.

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, at Mildura.

Seeing the Test & Tune Friday & Race day Saturday being cancelled due to rain.

Thankfully a change in weather on Sunday saw the 1st Round of the Max Crane Tri-Series take place.

The ute ran 2 consecutive qualifying passes, in which Brad had continued to run this Naturally Aspirated torque monster,

Consistently at 6.6@109mph.

Having a consistent car, saw Brad into the elimination rounds, sending other competitors packing.

Making it all the way through to the finals, where Brad defeated long time drag racer Yafinditis in his consistent Chev powered Holden ute.

Brad walked away with a trophy, prize money and 100 points for round win.

 Making the journey to Mildura a pleasant & worthwhile experience.
